Why do I always end up awake later than the average sane person? It doesn't matter if my alarm is set for 7am or 7 till noon, I will be up at an indecent hour the night before. I just can't justify replacing waking hours of life with sleeping ones unless absolutely necessary. That's why we have coffee and will power and things of this nature. It's to find ways to deprive ourselves of sleep so as not to miss out on the little joys and experiences in life. Anytime you choose sleep over a viable late night option, whether it's a diner stop or a game of darts, you shut down the possibility of a story you may have ended up telling your grandkids someday. Look, it's clear that the human body needs sleep to function, I do understand this evil fact. It also feels amazing to get good sleep, I agree. But picking and choosing your spots to hit the hay is key.
I can't stand morning people, they bother me to no end. I don't hate mornings though, even when they conflict with my late night happenings that came only 4-5 hours prior to my wake up call. I should probably tackle "morning people" in a completely separate blog, because it's an issue that deserves its own post.
When does the night end and the morning begin? I love a late night, but going to bed with the sun in your eye is annoying, and makes my body feel extremely awkward, more so than it is on a reg. I'm going to say that the night ends at around 4, although that time may vary based on circumstances.
I hope you are up to date on my posts, now that I am back to a somewhat respectable pace with them. I mean 3 posts in 6 days is respectable during any month of the year, and is all the more impressive given the fact that it's the summertime.
I'll be rambling to you again, soon hopefully...
